WWIIADT

"Airborne Experience"

We are now able to offer a new "ride-along" Airborne experience. Individuals will be allowed to go "Airborne" along with jump team members on a C47 flight.  Hear and feel what it's like to ride in a WWII vintage aircraft and watch the troops dressed in WWII uniforms and equipment "Stand Up & hook Up".

MISSION STATEMENT

The WWII Airborne Demonstration Team Foundation was formed to remember, honor and serve the memory of those men and women who fought and died to preserve America's freedom during WWII, particularly as members of airborne units of the United States Army. The activities of the Foundationís volunteers also recognize and honor those who served and survived that conflict. The Foundation serves this honorable purpose through the participation of its members in active parachute jumping in the style of the WWII airborne soldier utilizing an aircraft that actually participated in the invasion of Europe in 1944. These activities serve to further the memory of their unbending loyalty to the cause of freedom. Further, it is the goal of the Foundation to foster, promote and engage in research of WWII airborne operations and military history and to inform and educate the public through airborne operations demonstrations throughout the United States and Europe, therefore keeping their memories, sacrifices and traditions alive for future generations. In addition, the organization holds and maintains WWII artifacts and equipment at its WWII era Headquarters at Frederick Army Airfield and has restored the last two remaining wooden hangars for use as its training facility.

The World War II Airborne Demonstration Team is a 501C3 non-profit organization that is funded by the generosity of the general public. All donations to the team, whether they be in financial support, artifacts or services are tax deductible under the rules of IRS code 501C3. The organization would not be able to maintain its commitment to our veterans without the support of its all volunteer membership and the generosity of the general public.

If you wish to make a donation to the team you can do so by "Donate" button below.
