C-47 "Ride-Along"

WWIIADT

"Airborne Experience"

We are now able to offer a new "ride-along" Airborne experience. Individuals will be allowed to go "Airborne" along with jump team members on a C47 flight.  Hear and feel what it's like to ride in a WWII vintage aircraft and watch the troops dressed in WWII uniforms and equipment "Stand Up & hook Up".

Celebration of Freedom

Hobart, OK

The "Celebration of Freedom" is an outstanding Memorial Day Weekend held in Hobart, OK.  General Tommy Franks, former Commander of Central Command, lives in the area and has established a museum in Hobart.  He has been a driving force in establishing this patriotic event with the cooperation of numerous community organizations.

This will be the third year WWII ADT has jumped at the Celebration.  This year, we jumped twice at the fly-in on Saturday, as well as having the aircraft on display for the public.

Landing at Hobart Municipal (originally built as an outlying base for the WWII Burns Flat Naval Air Station)
